Hey just want to give you early info about Christmas Services + other resources.  Part of the message introduces a new online Worship Team Schedule that everyone can see, and it ends with a question that you can answer here when you’re ready!  Keep reading to learn more about…

01 — CHRISTMAS SERVICES INFO

Last night, Bill Hicks (our Services Elder) recommended 2023 Christmas Service timings to our Session, and Session approved.  So I’m writing to share the information we know today and find out if you’d be available to participate.  Our Order of Service / needs and roles will be firmed up after our incoming Transitional Pastor arrives to oversee services. 

Here’s the service timings for our 4 Christmas Services. Run through / rehearsals TBD.  

  • Christmas Eve Eve (Sat. Dec 23rd)

    • 2PM — Possible Run Through

    • 5PM

  • Christmas Eve (Sun. Dec 24th) — No morning services 

    • 3PM 

    • 5PM

    • 7PM 

02 — WORSHIP TEAM SCHEDULE (online)

Eunice and I are keeping a Worship Team Schedule online that everyone can view, anytime. We’re going to reach out to invite your participation and get you into the schedule, please do stay flexible with us as we do our best to organize teams with MD’s for each service, while maintaining a high regard for the wider needs of our church (which includes production/tech staffing, additional ministry service needs, funerals or other events…)

Please find us if you’re ever feeling uncertain about serving or need to make changes to your scheduling.

03 — Invitation to PARTICIPATE (Sunday’s, Christmas)

Here’s where we need to hear back! I’m hoping to pencil in the rest of 2023, especially through Christmas, and you’re invited! Check out the Worship Team Schedule (WTS) at the link above, let me know your availability (or unavailability) and we’ll begin adding people into the schedule based on general factors like: who we hear from first, and… what the needs of the weekend are.


Are there any weekends you’d be open to joining a Sunday morning worship team (8am or 10am) in September, October, November, and December? Please email me when you can at chevas@fpchawaii.org or hit the button and let me know.
