SUNDAY MORNINGS, 10AM at our Koʻolau campus
Nursery (3 months - 24 months)
The First Prez Ko‘olau Kids team shares God’s love with our babies by showing pictures of Jesus and their families, singing to them about God’s love, and helping them feel safe and loved during their first years of experiencing church.
ToddlerS (24 months - 3 Years)
The First Prez Ko‘olau Kids team shares God’s love with our toddlers by teaching them simple songs, Bible stories, activities, and how to pray. Toddlers will begin to know who God is and that He loves them. The toddler classroom offers a consistent schedule with lots of repetition and interactive, hands-on experiences.
Preschool (3-5 years)
Preschool age children learn by doing. Through praying together, hearing and acting out Bible stories, singing, creative movement, and various activities, preschoolers will discover that Jesus loves them and wants them to be kind, good, and loving.
Elementary (Kindergarten - 5th Grade)
Children will experience fun, active learning through singing, drama, games, object lessons, and application time during consistent small groups and a large-group experience. They will discover that the Bible is true and was written for us today. They will be able to recognize sin and understand that it separates us from God. Each week they are taught from Scripture how to make the right choices and how to share their faith.
IMPORTANT INFO FOR PARENTS
SAFETY
Ko‘olau Kids is safe and secure. We use a computerized check-in system where parents are given a claim ticket to pick up their child. Digital pagers are provided for parents of young children or children with special needs. All paid staff and volunteers have gone through a screening process where background clearances and references have been checked.
SPECIAL FRIENDS FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN
All children matter to God and to us, too! If your child has special needs, we have a special needs coordinator and team that will adapt our program to help meet your child’s individual spiritual needs.
WELLNESS POLICY
To prevent the spreading of germs, please do not bring your child to the Ko‘olau Kids Program if they have any known illnesses or visible signs of suspected illnesses such as: green mucus in eyes or nose, impetigo, chicken pox, fever, unexplained diarrhea, rash, vomiting, viral or bacterial infections or any contagious illness. If your child has been on antibiotics for more than 24 hours and is not contagious, they are welcome to attend.
INFANT and NURSING ROOM
There’s an infant room next to the Sanctuary where you can still listen to the worship service while meeting the needs of your infant.
